Welch Hornsby Welcomes Harvey A. Hutchinson III to Firm

Welch Hornsby announces that Harvey A. Hutchinson III has joined the firm as a client advisor.

Welch Hornsby is pleased to welcome Harvey A. Hutchinson III as a client advisor in the firm’s Birmingham office. Harvey brings more than a decade of experience in financial planning, trusts and estates, and wealth planning to serve high-net-worth individuals and families.

Harvey will work with Welch Hornsby’s established team of client advisors to provide comprehensive financial expertise, including personalized financial planning and portfolio management. Harvey’s background in tax and estate planning law provides a multi-faceted approach to the complexities of financial planning.*

Harvey holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®), and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designations. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Master of Business Administration from Auburn University, a Master of Accounting from The University of South Alabama, Juris Doctor with a focus in Business & Estate Planning from Regent University School of Law, and Master of Laws in Taxation from The University of Alabama School of Law.

Harvey is involved professionally in the financial community, serving in leadership roles with the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Huntsville, the Alabama Federal Tax Clinic, Inc., and the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. He has also served as a Hearing Panel Volunteer in 2017 and 2018 for the Disciplinary and Ethics Commission for the CFP Board of Standards, Inc. Prior to joining Welch Hornsby, Harvey worked in various wealth strategy, financial planning, and trusts positions with large financial institutions and full-service law firms.
